Leaving Caught Santa leaving town in this truck from 1948 I was amazed, delighted and honoured to see my shapes posting at number one again. Thank you for all the comments and views you give. I know I am fortunate in that my posting coincides with the Smugmug day for recording stats so it is the response that thrills me and encourages me to continue even on days where my energy levels are low. Old Style Saw this while out walkabout yesterday. The DeSoto (sometimes De Soto) was a brand of automobile based in the United States, manufactured and marketed by the Chrysler Corporation from 1928 to 1961 according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeSoto_(automobile) Cars in Ireland are registered with the year first, licencing county then numbered from 1 until the end of that year. So this one was registered in 1958 in Cork and was the 23 car registered there that year. This would imply it is a 1947 or 48 model. There was a lot of colours reflecting on the car due to bright sunshine (unusual) and brightly coloured buildings so I converted it in Elements. Travelling Saw this at the last moment and I had to rush out between two parked cars so not much space in front. Work has me travelling the next couple of days so my time for commenting will be minimal. I will catch up between Wednesday and Thursday.
