This is only a short walk from where my sister lives. Unfortunately it was not open to the public yesterday so no interior visit but definitely next time I visit Dublin. As you can see I managed to get the shot before a very heavy and prolong rain shower!

Dates from the 13th century. The absence of windows on the inner elevation of the Tower suggests that it functioned exclusively as a defensive structure and was not intended to be occupied as a residence during peace time.
